Padang Trust is an independent trust company licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Our directors and principal shareholders are Tan Hin Tat, Augustine Soh and Evelyn Tan. Hin Tat and Augustine are founding partners of the law firm known as Hin Tat Augustine & Partners, which was founded in 2003 and is now a medium sized firm with an active wealth management practice. Evelyn was formerly the executive director of Boardroom Ltd, a public-listed international business services provider.
Padang Trust allows Hin Tat Augustine & Partners to expand its services in wealth planning and management. With skills gained from many years of practical legal experience, we are able to identify issues and provide effective solutions to clients who wish to preserve and enhance their wealth and manage it over several generations.
We aim to build strong and long-lasting relationships with all our clients and we invest time in analysing each client’s’ unique situation. A trust is just one of the many tools of wealth management and it is essential to understand a client’s needs and objectives before the establishment of a trust. Proper tax and legal advice must be obtained based on all relevant information.
As an independent company, we accept many different types of trust assets including investment portfolios, real property and insurance policies. We also work with a wide range of advisors / consultants to give clients maximum flexibility in terms of banking, investment and other management services.
